Aging is a process where there is decrease of reproduction and
body functions in adult age. The occurrence of aging is a natural process. The
human life
expectancy has increased worldwide. The
divergence from our recent ancestor evolved to double its previous value. From
the last 200 years we can see the substantial increase, about 2.5 years per
decade. Environmental changes, improved food, water, hygiene and living
conditions reduced infectious diseases with the help of improved medicine,
antibiotics and immunization.

Old people
should prefer proper and healthy die as they have a weak digestive system. With
the increase of age there will be decrease in the functioning of digestive
system. Foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fiber rich foods
should be taken.
2. Prevention:
There is a
famous saying that “Prevention is better than Cure”. Of course it is better to
prevent rather than obtaining it and suffering to cure. Regular health
check-ups should be done along with tests such as cholesterol level, B.P, sugar
levels etc. These methods will help knowing the problems of the body beforehand
and thus by preventing them. Getting daily vaccinations also helps in
preventing the problems.
3. Good Sleep:
Sleep is the
most favorite part to many of us because we hardly get time to sleep because
of our busy schedules. For old people a good sleep is considered as a natural
medicine as the whole body rests while sleeping. Insomnia is a trending problem
especially to older people so, good surroundings with dim light and hygiene,
soundless bedroom should be provided for a better sleep. Sleeping helps the
body to relax and will make them active.
4. Socialize:
Older people
not only need physical health but also mental health. Spending quality time
with family and friends helps them to be in a good mood which implies a healthy
living. So quality time should be given to older people.
5. Physical
Exercise:
Daily physical
activities show a great impact on our health. Morning walks in fresh air,
simple exercises with friends group helps in keeping the body active and
healthy.
Yes, there is
no escape from aging but you can have a healthy and a happy aging. With
